Shimano Alivio RD-M4000 SGS 9 Speed Long Cage Rear Derailleur

- Compared to the previous groupset it has a more aggressive look and a low profile design.
- The rear derailleur clearly shows this new look.
- Besides the new look, the rear derailleur now features Shimano’s Shadow RD technology. Known from higher level groupsets like SLX and Deore.
- Shadow RD is intended for more aggressive riding.
- Because of its low profile and single tension construction, the derailleur does not hit the chain stay in rough conditions.
The rear derailleur can can be combined with the cassette CS-HG400-9. Please note: Only the combinations with 11-32, 11-34 or 12-36 teeth is compatible. It does not work with 11-28 teeth.
